I am a 52-year-old father of two children, married for 23 years to Sylvia Townsend. My oldest child, Rose, attended Kensington Hilltop, Portola, and El Cerrito High. My youngest child, Alice, attended Kensington Hilltop and Portola. This spring, she graduated from El Cerrito High.
Since graduating from UC Berkeley, I have mostly worked in the publishing and computer software industries. Currently, I work as a technical writer for a software company.
I have lived on the same block in Kensington since 1987.
